Mohammad Rezvanifar said on Monday that Iran exported 113 million tons of non-oil goods, valued at $40.5 billion, to foreign countries in ten months, registering a 9.4 percent hike in volume and an 11 percent decline in value compared to last year’s corresponding period.
Iran imported 32.7 million tons of goods, valued at $54.3 billion, in the mentioned period, showing a 6 and an 11.6 percent YOY rise in volume and value respectively, he added.
He named China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, and India as the major export destinations of Iranian goods at the said time, and the UAE, China, Turkey, Germany, and India as the main import sources.
Rezvanifar said that the value of Iran’s transit in the first ten months is 14.2 million tons, which shows 29 percent year-on-year growth.
